A HUGE thank you to Voix Des Rochesuses

On December 17th, 2011 this amazing choir raised $145.00 and 200lbs of food for Community Kitchen Program.  This means so much to us and we are proud to have been involved in your event. 

BOWEN Brings an Early Christmas!!

On December 14, 2011 BOWEN donated through Digital Office to bring in binders desperately needed for our Souper Stars Program.  Over 500 children taking part in the Souper Stars program will recieve a brand new binder containing all pages needed for the program along with nutritional information and life skills sheets.  Because of Digital Office, BOWEN was able to bring a Christmas miracle to the door of Community Kitchens.  We can't thank them enough!

East Side Mario's Shows Passion With Pasta

A special thank you to East Side Mario's and chef Shaun Leochko (who has served every meal) for their ongoing support of the Souper Stars Program.  Each participating class received a special hot lunch served right in the classroom on graduation day.  East Side Mario's, you have made such a difference and these students won't forget that you cared enough to come see them and share a hot meal!

BOWEN Gives Back

 On November 16th, a number of BOWEN staff joined us at St. Bernadette Elementary School to help serve a Hitmen Hot Lunch to the students. BOWEN is a highly valued supporter of CKP, and their ongoing assistance has contributed enormously to the success of our youth programs. Students, staff and volunteers all had a great time, and we look forward to future opportunities to work with the dedicated personnel at BOWEN.

Edges Salon & Spa Extends a Hand

Many thanks to the staff at Edges Salon & Spa who came out to volunteer at our Hitmen hot lunch at Vista Heights School on November 15.  Your help feeding the students was unbelievable and we can't thank you enough for your continued assistance!  The children can't stop talking about their 'special day' and your contribution helped make it the success that it was. On behalf of CKP, we thank you for taking the time out of your day to help create an unforgettable experience for these children.
