BOWEN Shine drives in with an unbelievable donation

BOWEN Shine was so incredibly generous to donate funds to purchase a new refridgerated van for the youth programs Souper Stars and Tummy Tamers.  We cut the ribbon on April 27, 2012.  We are now able to not only have enough space for all the food and teaching supplies we transport, but a refridgeration unit to keep the kids fruits, vegetables, drinks, etc. at proper cool temperatures.  We can't thank you enough BOWEN, this is incredible and a true blessing.

What an honor!

Community Kitchen has been blessed to have 3 fabulous Social Work practicum students for the past 3 months.  Thank you to these amazing women for their incredible commitment, hard work, and for going above and beyond what was expected.  You will be greatly missed, and we are so grateful for all you have done for Community Kitchen Program.                                                                                                                        Practicum students Kayla and Cydney                 Practicum student Maria and our youth

In Giving Color

On February 13th an original painting was donated to the Scott Smed room in the Peter Lougheed Hospital. A staff member of Community Ktichen Program wanted to give back to Scott Smed Memorial Foundation for all of their support towards the Souper Stars Program and Tummy Tamers Program.

BOWEN Brings an Early Christmas!!

On December 14, 2011 BOWEN donated through Digital Office to bring in binders desperately needed for our Souper Stars Program.  Over 500 children taking part in the Souper Stars program will recieve a brand new binder containing all pages needed for the program along with nutritional information and life skills sheets.  Because of Digital Office, BOWEN was able to bring a Christmas miracle to the door of Community Kitchens.  We can't thank them enough!
